My mission is to ignite a movement where women embrace their whole selves - their triumphs, scars, dreams, and fears - creating ripples of authentic celebration that transform how we see ourselves and lift each other higher.

Through my journey of growth and vulnerability, I'm teaching my sons, Kaden and Leo, that honoring your soul's calling isn't just an act of self-love, but a gift to the world.

When we dare to live from our hearts, we create a legacy of courage that inspires others to do the same, fostering a community where each woman's rise strengthens us all.

Mia, founder of Tru Events, moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to pursue a career in Makeup Artistry.

After transitioning into the business side of the beauty industry, Mia began working as an Account Executive for several prestigious beauty companies. It was during this time she gained over a decade's worth of experience executing sales events and brand activations.

Mia was inspired to launch Tru Events after discovering a passion for events, creating memorable experiences and building connections with her clients.

After overcoming mental health struggles and making drastic life changes that improved her quality of life, Mia knows the importance of maintaining a great support system. That’s why a portion of all proceeds help fund mental health resources for women.
