1. Rental Agreement

By placing an order with TRU Events Rentals ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Booking & Payment

Reservations

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date

  • Remaining balance is due 48 hours before your event

  • We accept all major credit cards, Venmo, and cash

  • A valid ID and credit card must be on file for all rentals

Pricing

  • Rental prices are for a 24-hour period unless otherwise specified

  • Additional days are charged at our standard daily rate

  • Weekend rentals (Friday-Monday) may have special pricing

  • Holiday rates may apply

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made in writing via email to trueventsrental@gmail.com

  • Cancellations made 7+ days before: 50% of deposit refunded

  • Cancellations made 3-6 days before: deposit forfeited

  • Cancellations less than 48 hours before: full payment required

  • Date changes subject to availability and $50 rescheduling fee

4. Delivery & Setup

Service Area

  • We serve all of Southern California

  • Delivery fees based on distance from our location

  • Minimum delivery fee: $50

Installation

  • Professional installation available for an additional fee

  • Client must ensure proper venue access

  • Minimum 6-foot-wide entry required for backdrop access

  • Client responsible for obtaining venue approval

  • Additional fees apply for:

    • Stairs

    • Excessive walking distance from unload point

    • Wait time at venue

    • After-hours installation/removal

5. Equipment Care & Liability

Client Responsibilities

  • Inspect all items upon delivery

  • Report any damage immediately via phone or email

  • No tape, staples, pins, or adhesives on backdrops

  • No painting, cutting, or altering equipment

  • Keep equipment protected from weather

  • No outdoor use unless specifically agreed upon

Damage & Loss

  • Security deposit required for all rentals

  • Clients liable for full replacement cost of damaged items

  • Missing or stolen items charged at full retail price

  • Normal wear and tear excluded

  • Additional cleaning fee for excessive dirt/debris

6. Insurance

  • Client responsible for insurance coverage during rental period

  • We recommend event insurance

  • Company must be listed as additional insured for events over 100 people

7. Photo Rights

  • Company reserves the right to photograph our products at your event

  • Client grants permission to use event photos for marketing

  • Client will be tagged/credited for any social media use

8. Safety & Compliance

  • All backdrops meet fire safety regulations

  • Client responsible for venue safety requirements

  • Maximum capacity/weight limits must be observed

  • No climbing or hanging on structures

9. Weather Policy

  • Client responsible for weather contingencies

  • No refunds due to weather

  • Indoor backup location recommended

  • Additional fees for weather-related redelivery

10. Dispute Resolution

  • All disputes subject to California law

  • Mediation required before legal action

  • Winning party entitled to attorney fees

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Current terms will be provided with each rental agreement.
